Diagnosed w/ epididymitis & prescribed doxycycline, which i read is typically prescribed for chlamydia? both chlamydia/gonnorhea lab results returned negative, do i continue with prescription or is it pointless as i do not have chlamydia?

Please finish taking the prescription. This will help prevent a reoccurrence of the infection.

Doxycycline is a broad spectrum antibiotic that will cover for a variety of bacteria other than Chlamydia that may be involved in the infection. Taking the medicine as prescribed would be wise at this point.
