A member asked:

If you had protected sex 6 days before ovulation and there was no condom breakage is it possible to become pregnant (trying to avoid pregnancy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If this was the only sex, (you are not the woman and how do you know she did not have more sex) pregnancy is very unlikely. Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period. If the result is negative repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully.
