If your pill regimen did not include a "late start" for a couple days after the placebo week ended, pregnancy is unlikely. Variation in metabolism can slow the elimination of hormones from combined oral bcp use, and may increase breast tenderness on occasion. To be certain about possible pregnancy, obtain a serum HCG test, which is very accurate.

If you had sex since your last period and miss your period by 4-5 days, do a home pregnancy test. If the result is negative repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully. You could get a blood test for HCG after a missed period for a more definitive result. Get HPV vaccine. Wish you good health!
