theoretically organisms from a dog's tongue licking the area can enter the urinary tube and cause infection but the chances of that are very remote. I would suggest you go to a free or charity clinic closest to you and get examined and have urine tested. In the meantime drink more fluids and try sitting in a warm tub to relieve discomfort. If things get worse go to the ER . You'll be OK
