If your exposure occurred less than 72 hours ago, see a doctor or go to an emergency room to get post-exposure prophylaxis. You could get HIV and there is no way to give you the odds.

Doc, I always had sex with multiple partners with condoms safely used. It's been a year. Chances of getting hiv? No breakage or leak.

Minimal: The condom is very effective in preventing the spread of hiv. However, the only way that you can know for sure is to be tested.

I'll add that although any single condom protected exposure is extremely low risk, that low risk rises with the number of exposures. And unrecognized condom failures sometimes occur. Everyone with this sort of sexual lifestyle should be tested for HIV and other common STDs (gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis) from time to time, like once a year.

Dr. Gallant is exactly right. But also remember that unrecognized condom failures can occur; and with repeated exposures of this sort, the risk remains low but not zero. People with this sort of sexual lifestyle should be tested for HIV and other STDs (gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis) from time to time, like once a year.
