A member asked:

What are the chances of an epididymal cyst harbouring cancer. and is an epididymal cyst containing cancer just as dangerous as testicular cancer on its own? and last question. how large is the normal epididymis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Virtually the only cancer that occurs in the scrotum is testicular. Epididymal cysts are very common. The size of these cysts vary but they tend to resolve in 2-4 weeks. If yours isn’t gone in a month have it checked again. Otherwise what you are experiencing is normal for us guys.
