I took plan b and got the copper iud inserted in january. i got my period after that, on time, which lasted 2 weeks and was heavy. now i'm late for my next period by 10 days, and i have been spotting for 6 days. is this from plan b? what is going on?

The Copper IUD is a form of birth control that is immediately effective and does not need additional hormonal supplementation to prevent pregnancy. Plan B is a hormonal emergency contraceptive for use by a person who had sex while not protected with any other contraceptive. It can cause side effects such as irregular bleeding, spotting, nausea. Do not use Plan B while using the IUD.
