I have had two warts on the palm of my hands for years. i only realised what they were last year. websites like plannedparenthood say you cannot pass them to genitals through masturbation but stories online say yes.can the virus be passed this way?

Not to worry: There are dozens of wart strains that infect humans & each strain requires a specific tissue. Genital warts live only on genitals, not hands & are passed only through genital to genital contact. Skin wart strains can travel to other common skin surfaces, but do not infect genital skin.
