Possible answers: First, would consider Gynecologist visit and evaluation for endometriosis, or ovarian cyst. But colon problems and other bowel issues should not be overlooked. A kidney stone might present this way. So, just looking at this in general, it would benefit you to track this down thoroughly.

Adenomyosis ?: Adenomyosis is a condition where the lining cells of the uterine cavity invade the smooth muscle of the uterus, and can cause heavier periods, pelvic pain. Ask your gyn physician about low dose oral bcp's, which can lessen considerably the blood loss and pain associated . Hysterectomy may be considered depending on your decision about potential pregnancy.
