My birth control subscription ran out last month. i didnt take any birth control and now im experiencing cramps and no period. if i start my new birth control will i start bleeding or will i start bleeding when i take the placebo pills. ?

Depends: Most birth control pills are low dose, which occasionally leads to a very thin uterine lining & periods can be missed, but I recommend a pregnancy test before starting new pill pack if you are sexually active. You may not bleed until you are on the placebo pills but could have irregular spotting prior due to the missed month of pills
