My husband is a brick mason, he showers everyday after work... but today the brick dust didnt completely come off him after intense scrubbing.. long story short we had intercourse, but he stuck a finger in and i think my vagina is having a reaction?

More likely: trauma from rough skin on his finger/hand. I know from experience with masonry and working with masons that their hands can be very rough and calloused... unless he wears waterproof gloves continuously.
