If she had it?...: We shouldn't just say, "if she had it." There has to be a reason to suspect she has it. That is the key. If she doesn't have HepC, there is no way she transmits it. In the US, 99.2% do not have Hepatitis C. So, one must first establish a reason to believe a person has it. Otherwise, one may be worrying for no reason. Secondly, licking fingers is not how the disease is spread.
