Im 30 years old. freaking out woke up this morning with a very mild sore throat. i spit up a little mucus yellow and a bit green. after i spit up bloody phlegm. im worried i have lung cancer. i do smoke. ?

Dr. can check throat: Lung cancer is unlikely (yet possible) at age 30. Never smoke anything other than salmon, brisket, etc. Throat symptoms can be from strep throat infection (antibiotics are needed), a cold or other virus (antibiotics usually not used), allergies or irritants, sinusitis, stomach reflux when asleep, etc... One usually sees the doctor if the throat is bothersome, recurrent, or doesn't go away quickly.
