Genital warts: Genital warts often require several treatments before they clear up and stop recurring. They will eventually clear without treatment, but it can take a long time (months or years). Best to be re-treated; check back with your doctor. HPV DNA may persist, sometimes indefinitely, but ongoing recurrences and transmission to partners are uncommon. Get vaccinated to prevent other HPV problems.
