I have been off birth control for about 5 or 6 months now and have not gotten my period yet. i am sexually active with my husband using condoms, and the pregnancy tests that i take all say negative. is there any reason why i wouldnt have my period?

Missing period ?'s: At 19, missing five months of periods may be due to increased stress (emotional, school or job related) which can delay ovulation. Ovarian cysts (PCOS) may also cause lack of periods. See your gyn physician for an exam and testing.

I suggest double barrier contraception= condoms PLUS spermicidal foam, gel, sponges, vaginal inserts, IUD and time to consider oral BC pills.
