Some basics: Women who are regular by nature can occasionally miss a cycle for a number of reasons. A drastic diet change may or may not be the trigger. It can represent a failure to release an egg, which paces the cycle & this failure may mean an estrogen dominated buildup of uterine tissue that will breakthrough later as a prolonged menses. If this continues contact your doc. It may just reset your system.
