A "CLEAN ": urine specimen is obtained.. Using wipettes , the area around the opening to the bladder is cleaned.. then the urine collected "midsteam" ensures that the urine is not "mixed" with any vaginal discharge/bleeding Simple test...if done correctly answers the question.. Hope this is helpful Dr Z
