Stool : Not uncommon. I would refer you to the Bristol stool chart for a good explanation about how your stools should be.

Some basics: You have about 22 feet of small intestine & ~6 feet of large intestine. At any point there is processed material moving along the total length.The area of large bowel near the outlet is called the sigmoid.That is where stool prepares to exit & signals when it balloons enough to trigger emptying.The remaining material behind moves up immediately but not ballooned enough to trigger evacuation
