A member asked:

If two people who had no sexual contact before so no stds had sex can they spread high risk hpv to one another ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: One of the great arguments for virginity until a monogamous marital relationship is the lack of any risk of a sexually transmitted disease. You cannot have or transfer a disease to which you were never exposed or had. There are some variable diseases that you can get without sex that can pass during sex, like flu, mono, hepatitis, etc. but not the true STD's.
