A male asked:

Missed first combination bc pill in new pack. had unprotected sex that day, doubled up next day. took emergency contraception 3 days later. possible to ovulate on day missed? been on sprintec for years.

Ovulation: It is possible to ovulate at that time. Unfortunately, missing a pill at the very beginning of the pack is one of the highest risk times to miss a pill. It is good that you took emergency contraception, too. Make sure that you are continuing to take a pill every day, and take a pregnancy test in 2-3 weeks.
