Anal fisssure: Anal fissure is a small tear in the lining of anus causes severe pain and some bright red bleeding during and after bowel movements. In most cases the tear heals in 4-6 weeks on its own. If it persists despite RX may require surgery. Other Rx Keep stools soft Increase Fiber 25-35 gms/day Plenty of fluids Sometimes may need to add NTG gel, Nifedepine gel , and topical lidocaine
