If worried, do test: Answer is no. A urine pregnancy test will give a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (or when conception might have happened) or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and therefore lead to a repeat test. If a woman has her normal regular period, then she is not pregnant, and the test is not needed yet.

No guarantees: Pregnancy has been documented after unprotected intercourse on any day of a woman's cycle, including during menses. It is less likely near or during menses, but there are no guaranteed "safe" days. Women with irregular cycles are more likely to have unpredictable egg release dates than those who are regular. If you are not ready to be pregnant, use something.
