Things to ponder: Germs transfer by direct contact or indirectly through body fluids. A condom does not cover all body surfaces where sexual fluids will touch. Condoms thus reduce but do not eliminate risk of STD's. The only way to avoid STD's is to avoid sexual encounters with a STD carrier.
