Low risk, not zero: Assuming the condom is properly used and does not break, you will be nearly 100% protected against HIV and the STDs transmitted primarily through genital fluids (gonorrhea, chlamydia, hepatitis B). There is less complete protection against those transmitted skin-to-skin (herpes, HPV, syphilis) because of skin contact above the condom. You should still be tested periodically for HIV and STDs.
