Which types on the bristol stool chart can cause an anal fissure?

Any: Anal closure is accomplished by a set of muscles that gradually relax to allow the passage of stool. While types 1-3, the harder lumpier stools may be more likely to tear skin, a forceful release of watery stool (7) in a large bolus can do the same thing.
