I take my birth control pill every day at noon. i missed it yesterday. today i took the missed pill and todays pill as well. am i still protected?

Missed bcp: A one day lapse in taking the active pill, is not going to affect the protection afforded by the oral contraceptives. You may start spotting, since withdrawal from estrogen might cause brief bleeding, but continue your pills as normal unless any bleeding continues. If so, just stop, and start a new pack on day five after stopping.
