I'm sorry......: this is an unanswerable question. Basing accusations on the certainty of a specific smell being experienced is fraught with problems and unwise. Trust between you is paramount. Hopefully you have built a strong base so that trust between you is high. If there is no logical explanation for this odor, you both need to move on and forget about it. Your relationship must be strong enough to do so.
