How many minutes late is too late for the mini pill? is 15-30 after your scheduled time too late? for example if i always take it at 8pm and one night i take it at 8:15 should i use back up?

You should be ok: 15-20 minutes would probably be ok with the mini pill. Try to take it at the same time daily. It is certainly not as effective as the combination pill and added protection with condoms is never a bad idea

OTC medications can be confusing, as the brand name Dulcolax now makes a stool softener (docusate sodium) that has the same ingredient as Colace, as well as the laxative (Biscodyl). When it was first marketed, Dulcolax was the most common brand of of the generic Biscodyl drug, so when doctors refer to Dulcolax, they often are referring to the laxative form, not the softener.
