Here are some...: If being herpes at this stage, there would be no remedy to shorten its clinical course of 2-3 wks, but keeping the affected area as clean & dry as possible so to minimize possible superimposed infection will help. For its recurrence, take valacyclovir HCl as soon as feeling its coming will lessen symptoms and shorten its course. So, talk with doc timely.
