Was constipated this week with small, hard stools. have since had some normal bowel movements, but i still feel some pressure in my rectum area. why?

Fissure: You may have a tear in the lining of the rectum from passing hard stool (called a fissure), Increase fiber in your diet (fruits and vegetables), and possibly take a fiber agent such as metamucil (any drug store will have). Sitting in a warm bath may help as well. If persists, see primary care.

Stool : Not uncommon. I would refer you to the Bristol stool chart for a good explanation about how your stools should be.
