Possible- unlikely: More likely scenario- one partner has had sex with an individual who has chlamydia and then same or other partner became symptomatic. Why it is so important to use barrier protection such as condoms and dental dams when having sex.

Chlamydia infection: Many times chlamydial infections are very asymptomatic in females until a significant Fallopian tube infection ensues or the patient is tested prior to infertility assessment. As to whether a two year time frame is involved cannot be answered. Only when both parties are in a mutually monogamous relationship and have been STD tested negative PRIOR to that relationship can aspersions be "cast".
