Lights off: The simple answer is turn off the lights. The process is mostly "feel" and less "see".In the long term you need to find an unrelated therapist and explore your aversion.Just like being fearful of snakes, there is likely some trigger from your past that pushed you into this funk.If you can understand the origin and be taught some skills to deal with it you can relax and enjoy this part of life.
