Not very likely: While circulation and blood flow can be associated with coolness of a limb, it would more likely be narrowing of small arteries rather than a problem on the vein side of the circulation where blood clots commonly form. Also, venous blood clots more commonly cause pain and swelling than change in temperature. Consider an evaluation to check circulation as well as nerve function in your leg.

See answer: A blood clot occurring in an extremity is an emergency. The patient will have pain, numbness,coolness and possible weakness of the extremity. You are probably referring to peripheral artery disease(PAD). Coldness in an extremity would be a very late symptom of PAD. Pain in an extremity on walking would be the the earliest symptom of PAD. Skin temperature is under autonomic nervous system control
