A member asked:

Stopped birth control in jan. (was on it for 1 1/2 years) and got my predicted period in feb. but i have not had a period since then, is that normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Birth control pills don't cause irregular periods. Were you irregular before starting pills? There are many causes of a missed period--any possibility of pregnancy? If not, hormonal causes can also be a factor. See your doctor to find out why. Your body is trying to give you a message.
