I had a little too much to drink and threw up 4-5 hours after taking my coc pill. did this affect its efficacy/absorption? took next pill as scheduled

Yes: If you threw it up 4-5 hours after taking it, the chances are that your body absorbed most but not all of the medication. Since you took your next pill as scheduled, you do not need to double up on your birth control method if you are using a estrogen/progesterone type birth control pill. Maybe refrain from drinking as much next time, alcohol poisoning can occur. Best of luck!
