Unlikely: If you have frequent nasal congestion, this may be the cause- controlling the nasal congestion often gets rid of the dark circles. Others may be a familial trait.

Not true: The dark circles are usually attributed to slowed blood flow through the underlying capillaries/veins that are often due to airborne allergies/irritants. There is no link between sexual activity, alone or with a partner and eye issues.There are many culturally driven myths that reflect distain for the practice.
