Internal Medicine 40 years experience
Painful intercourse: May be infection like yeast or I have seen issues with mycoplasma/ ureoplasma overgrowth.( they are normally in the bowel) or strep , BV I sometimes treat with triple treatment with flagyl, doxycyline - if not pregnant- and then clotirmazole/diflucan and see if helps. a May also be ovarian cysts, check sonogram, Would follow up with GYN
