Swelling: If he's not circumcised there could be swelling and inflammation of the foreskin brought on by trauma. If he's circumcised the head of the penis could be inflamed( balanitis)instead from the vigorous activity. A yeast infection can cause swelling also but not usually suddenly. If there is no pain,trouble urinating or prolonged erection the swelling should recede with avoidance of trauma or sex
