Depends: Hi, are you going to breastfeed? If so, we generally recommend progesterone only so pills like Micronor (norethindrone), (norethindrone) or Depo Provera shots, or IUD (progesterone or copper). I breastfed both of mine for 9 months each. The first time I took Micronor (norethindrone). The second time I got copper IUD. If you are not breastfeeding, anything is fine, estrogen/progesterone combination pills or patch or ring.
