What is the best birth control to use right before having babies?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

OCP and barriers: All of the barrier methods (condoms and diaphragms) are quickly reversible (just stop using them). Oral contraceptives are also quickly reversible (just stop taking them). You do not need to be off of the pill for 3 months as sometimes suggested. Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) is stays in the body longer and may delay the return of normal periods and delay fertility.
