Genital HSV1: You are right to be concerned; your partner's oral herpes could have been infectious at the time. Probably not, but something to watch for. At this point, nothing can prevent it -- just have a low threshold for noticing pain, sores, etc so you can get treated promptly. Probably a 50% chance you've had past oral HSV1 yourself, without symptoms. If so, you're resistant and new infection unlikely.
