Male here. had unprotected oral sex with new gf. she had sex partners before; i haven't. her std status unknown. i'm scared of stds! advice?

Some thoughts...: How is a guy who fears STD's going to manage sexual activities with a new girl who's had other partners? Possible choices: do not engage in sexual activities until after the wedding (yes, it is normal not to have premarital sexual activities); go with her to her doctor to get her checked and to review test results; have sex, be scared, but get oneself checked each month for 4 consecutive months.
