Sebaceous glands: Fordyce spots are visible sebaceous(sweat)glands that are a normal variant. They appear as rice sized tiny papules raised above the surface of the skin. Typically they are very numerous on the scrotum and vulva and less so on the penile shaft. When few in number they can be confused with HPV or warts.
