I only had sex with one person just one time and it was five years ago. for religious reasons i hadn't had sex since then. should i get tested for std?

Probably not: Especially if you have no symptoms of a STD, there is almost no reason to be concerned or tested. But some people only call intercourse 'sex' and think of other physical acts between people like oral, anal or even hand contact as safe. They are not totally safe, so it might be a good idea if you've done those things recently. Probably, you are fine!
