WOW!: The best data we have from the CDC is: in 2013 there were a shocking 1,401,906 cases of newly diagnosed chlamydia reported! Likely an underestimate! This year expected to be about the same. Other than abstinence using a condom CORRECTLY EVERY TIME or being in a committed relationship & tested are the best preventions. Using a CONDOM CORRECTLY EVERY TIME the risk of GENITAL chlamydia is very low.
