Yeast: Most likely it is a yeast infection. You could try an over the counter cream designated for vaginal yeast.

Yeast infection : You may well have a vaginal yeast infection (also called moniliasis & candidiasis). Have you noticed any cheesy or milky white vaginal discharge? You can apply OTC anti-monilial cream to the irritated skin area along with intravaginal cream or suppository. Hope that helps.
