Does an orgasm (sex, masturbation) effect your mental or physical performance?

It should affect: your physical performance if you overdo it - esp if the orgasm is powerful enough to sap your strength for at least 15-20 mins afterwards. The older you are, the less likely you will recover soon afterwards. And the refractory period is built in unfortunately, it can be the bane of male existence :) Thanks for trusting in HealthTap.
