Possibly herpes: Herpes could do this. Usually the initial infection causes several lesions, not just two, and often fever, swollen nodes in the groin, and more. But sometimes fewer lesions, especially if this is actually a recurrence of a previously asymptomatic infection. Or more lesions could develop. See a doctor ASAP: diagnosis is most accurate and treatment most effective the earlier you are seen. Good luck!

Please bring this up with your Gynecologist who knows your medical history and can give you a through exam. If you don't have confidence in your Doctor see another for a second opinion.
