1-9%: If taken correctly (never miss a dose, and take it around the same time every day) then the "failure rate" is less than 1%. However if you forget doses, or take it at different times of the day, the failure rate can climb to 9%. You can improve your protection and also reduce your risk for STDs by having your partner use condoms also!
