Mammogram: if u dont feel any lumps and no family history of breat cancer , not required, also mammogram in age 49/60 is controversial

Trust your doctor: Have a discussion with your doctor about your hesitation. Find out why your doctor wants the US performed. Maybe the clinical examination warrants additional examination. Worse case scenario the US is benign. No radiation.
